Cucumber and Black Sesame Ricotta Toast
A luxurious Cucumber and Black Sesame Ricotta Toast that pairs cucumber and black sesame with creamy ricotta on toast.
Ingredients
- 8 slices Rye Bread
- Olive Oil, extra virgin, to taste
- 8 tablespoons Ricotta
- 1 Cucumber
- Black Sesame Seeds, to taste
- Fresh Thyme
Instructions
- Cut cucumber lengthwise into ribbons using a mandoline.
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spray bread slices on both sides with extra virgin olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.
- Toast until lightly golden, 10 to 12 minutes (turning halfway through).
- Remove from the oven and let the slices cool for 5 minutes.
- Spread ricotta over bread slices.
- Top with cucumber ribbons, and sprinkle with black sesame seeds.
- Garnish with fresh thyme.
- Serve and enjoy.
Notes
- To enrich the flavors, you can combine ricotta with Italian seasoning and some chili powder.
