A delicious and easy Farfalle Pasta in Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce recipe, which pairs a garlic parmesan cream sauce with farfalle pasta.
Ingredients
- 16 oz Farfalle, or any pasta of your choice
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- 1 cup Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, grated
- 1 ½ tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Black Pepper, to taste
- Pine Nuts , optional
Instructions
- Prepare pasta according to instructions on the package, keeping in mind to set the timer 1 min less than directed to keep the pasta al dente.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, mix the chicken broth, heavy whipping cream and cloves of chopped garlic.
- Let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add cornstarch, grated Parmigiano Reggiano, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well to combine.
- Remove pasta from heat and drain in colander, reserving some of the pasta water.
- Add the pasta to the cream sauce, adding a little bit of the pasta water to help coat the pasta.
- Sprinkle some salt and pepper, and some more Parmigiano.
- Add pine nuts for additional crunch (optional)
- Serve and enjoy.
